If you read my twitter in the past few days, you know how I feel about the Rotation Battle system. For those who don't let me repeat, Black and White has totally ripped off from what I consider the 3rd best RPG of all time: Jade Cocoon 2.
So I've recently started playing Battle Revolution again, and you know in the past I had a love hate relationship with WiFi battles. In the last 3 years it seems nothing has improved with the idiotic and lazy nature of people who play pbr. The rampant netdecking, the notion of stealing movesets from the Internet, is strong as ever. I've had more than one of my movesets stolen by Smogon. More and more people are using OU and Uber parties. Now before I hear someone talk about the whole metagame in pbr, I swear I'm going to punch them. A metagame is just that, a game within a game that players agree on. Not on random wifi, where the other person didn't agree upon it. Don't get me wrong the other person is just much at fault. Random is random, you never know what you might get. But that's no way to justify "oh well everyone else uses OU and I don't have a brain to think for myself".
So this is what I propose, A Gentlemen's Agreement and a change to fan created standard rule set for PBR. Since there are 11 colosseums in PBR, and what I consider roughly 3 popular Pokemon classes, UU, OU, and Uber, you can divide those colosseums up. What I propose is 3 colosseum for players who play UU, NU, and BL parties, 3 divided amongst OU players, and 3 for Uber players (who frankly deserve none), and the last 2 for anything goes.
It looks like Nintendo has finally given up their stance on an online Pokemon game, with Pocket Monsters Card Battle Online. The game comes with two decks, Expert Leafeon and Metagross, and players can bring their decks online to battle other players.
All I have to say is, Yu-Gi-Oh get on making a better MMO then your last one.
"Cartoon Network has begun airing the latest season of Pokémon, Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles in widescreen and in High Definition on their United States channel for the English dub.
They have also begun putting up the latest episodes on their website. The CN Video Section of the website posts full-length episodes split into parts using Flash. It appears Cartoon Network will keep the episodes available online for a few weeks before the video expires.
DPGB 20 - Battling a Cute Drama is available now to watch on the site for free for anyone in the United States by clicking here. Cartoon Network has also adjusted their website to redirect many out of country visitors to a landing page."
Looks like the exact opposite of the previous battle, I
overestimated this opponent, (s)he didn't even know the typing and
Ability of Jirachi...
I used Wigglytuff, Jirachi, Absol and Glalie. My opponent used Haunter, Garchomp, Yanmega and Torterra.
My new Double Battle team goes up against a pro-über-abuser, now
this's one of the reason's why I prefer Single Battles on random wi-fi.
I used Gengar, Wigglytuff, Absol and Glalie. My opponent used Jumpluff and Groudon.
